The Carl Turner Family started the Claybrook herd in 1964 breeding Registered Angus cattle in West Tennessee.
Today we are breeding Angus cattle for the Mid South Region in an environment that will be profitable for our customers. Some for as long as 35 years.
The farm is divided in Angus cattle and crops (wheat, corn, and soybeans). We are located in the flat land of Tennessee with a long growing season and lots of humidity. Grasses are Bermuda, Fescue, and Clovers.
The herd is based with Traveler, Rito, and Shoshone bloodlines along with 8 primary cow families.
